Description
This executive position is directly responsible for the operation of the waste-water treatment facilities located in Damariscotta (the main plant) and in Nobleboro. This includes the collection systems for both facilities which extend over these two towns and also Newcastle. The Superintendent is also responsible for the operation of the public drinking water system, and its distribution system, which serves Damariscotta and Newcastle. A four-year college degree and several years of management experience are required. Relevant experience with public water/waste-water systems is highly desirable. The applicant is expected to be an effective problem solver with demonstrated communication and management skills.
