Description
Equipment Technicians will perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment therefore must have a thorough understanding of AC/DC & digital electronic theory. Vacuum and RF knowledge is a plus.
Candidates must also have the ability to disassemble & reassemble complex mechanical assemblies using power and hand tools. Candidates must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment and schematics to isolate and repair malfunctions.
This position requires that you must be able to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs as well as be able to wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for possible work handling hazardous materials. Requirements include: • Basic computer skills • Strong interpersonal and communications skills • The ability to work with a minimum of supervision • The ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment • A strong work ethic with verifiable references • An Associates Degree in Electronic Technology or military electronics training • 5 to 10 years experience in photolithography, automation,thin films or metrology
