Description
The HEDIS Review Specialist (HRS) partners with the staff in quality department to perform chart audits for the medical record review portion of the HEDIS audit. The HRS works in an independent, professional manner with our clients network providers to collect clinical data either from providers electronic health records or paper medical records via site visits or fax request of records from offices located around Bangor and Portland. The HRS will set up appointments or make fax requests to the office, review the health records assigned to them for specific measures, accurately enter data into a database via laptop provided by client, and photocopy/print supporting documentation that will be submitted to the quality department for later audit by external auditor. Training on measures and data collection methodologies will be provided. Key Outcomes: 1. Complete and Accurate Capture of Data– The HEDIS Review Specialist (HRS) will perform accurate and complete reviews of medical records that lead to the most accurate results according to HEDIS specifications. 2. Complete Review on Time: The HEDIS review has a specified window for completion. The HRS will complete all assigned reviews by the completion of the medical record review period. 3. Maintain Positive Relationships Clients Network Providers: As a representative our client, HRS will work in an independent professional manner with medical record staff, office staff, and physicians to obtain records in a way that is convenient to both parties. This will be done in a flexible, courteous, but persistent way to maintain a positive relationship between the client and the network providers. Education/Experience: -RN/LPN preferred or equivalent clinical background. -Data Entry Experience a plus -Previous Auditing experience preferred -Previous HEDIS auditing experience or medical legal review preferred -Previous experience with Electronic Health Records strongly preferred -Previous experience with multiple Electronic Health Records preferred Please Call or Email for Additional Information: 877-629-4652 / maximpmo1@maxhealth.com |
