MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCATE The Disability Rights Center, a progressive non-profit organization whose mission is to advance and enforce the civil and human rights of individuals with disabilities, has an opening for a part-time mental health advocate located at the Riverview Psychiatric Center in Augusta. The duties include advising, assisting and protecting the personal, legal, financial and institutional rights of clients. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or relevant life-experience, ability to master legal and policy areas, develop and pursue innovative high impact advocacy strategies and work effectively with a wide range of interests. The successful candidate will be expected to execute projects with a high degree of independence, while working within DRC’s team-oriented atmosphere.
