Property owner seeking year-round caretaker. Candidate must be hard working, trustworthy, flexible, outgoing and a self-starter. Candidate must be a “jack of all trades.” Clean driving record required. Must live within 20 minutes of the Union/Hope area. Duties include, but are not limited to: - Lawn care - Upkeep and care of several buildings - Maintenance of equipment (light mechanical work) - Maintenance of several vehicles - Manage summer maintenance crew of 3 - Annual fall and spring cleanups of 100 acres - Cutting/Splitting wood - On call 24/7 during summer season - Daily walk of property in off-season - Snow removal Requirements: - TRUSTWORTHY, professional, outgoing, flexible, and a self-starter - Energy and enthusiasm - Attention to detail - At least 25 years of age - High school diploma or GED minimum - Experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, welding, and mechanical work - Knowledge of septic systems - Clean driving record - Must be able to pass background check - Bus drivers license a plus, but not required Benefits Health insurance, dental, investment matching Contact Information Please send resume, cover letter, and list of 3 references to: maintcare@gmail.com |
